Been scammed? Here's what you need to do now

If someone has gained access to your bank account or personal information, contact us.

1. Call the bank immediately

Call DNB on 915 04800. We will help you to:

  • Block cards and accounts.
  • Register the case and attempt to trace the funds.
  • Assess whether you may be eligible for compensation if you did not authorise the transfer yourself.

2. Get an overview of what has happened

Write down everything you know:

  • What information may have been compromised? Card number, BankID, login details?
  • Have you communicated with the fraudsters? Via SMS, email or social media?
  • Can you see that money is missing from your account?
  • The more you know, the easier it will be to get help.

3. Report it to the police

You should report the fraud as quickly as possible.

4. Remember: Time is critical

Fraud happens quickly. The money may be gone before you have time to react – especially if it has been transferred abroad. That is why it is important to take action immediately if you suspect something is wrong.

Unsure whether you've been scammed or someone has tried to scam you?

Contact us as soon as possible on 915 04800, and we will help you.
