No, you keep your Mastercard. We’ll make sure this is linked up in our systems.

The first time you use your card after the upgrade, your welcome points will be activated. The welcome points are transferred to your SAS EuroBonus account on your first bill. Points are awarded on every purchases using a Mastercard in Norway, abroad and online.

Do I get welcome points if I unsubscribe and then resubscribe to Mastercard Upgrade?

If you unsubscribe from Mastercard Upgrade and then resubscribe, you will not be able to claim any new welcome points.

The exception is if you move from one customer loyalty programme to another. For example, if you move from being a Pluss customer to a SAGA customer, you will receive new welcome points.

You can see the SAS EuroBonus points you’ve earned on the Mastercard invoice from DNB.

In addition, you will see your total earned SAS EuroBonus points on the SAS EuroBonus member pages and in the SAS app.

• Cash withdrawals over the counter and from cash machines
• Transfers from Mastercard to an online bank account.
• Money transfers between people.
• Purchasing currency with associated fees or other costs related to such transactions.
• Purchasing bank transfers, cheques and traveller’s cheques with associated fees or other costs related to such transactions.
• Costs and fees incurred in accordance with the terms and conditions for Mastercard such as, but not limited to, annual fees, interest, invoicing costs, payment reminders, collections costs and legal expenses.
• Use of Mastercard for the purchase of goods and services in business, with the exception of payments in connection with business trips, representation and small employee arrangements.
• Use of Mastercards that are not linked to the purchase of goods and services for the account holder’s personal use, or otherwise appear to be misuse.

SAS Eurobonus points will be transferred to your SAS Eurobonus account when invoicing posted qualifying transactions. Please note that transactions must be posted within the calendar year in order for them to be included in the first invoicing.

The points you earn will be shown on your Mastercard invoice. The total points balance appears on the summary you will receive from SAS.

Yes, you can. Points earned on any additional cards will be credited to the main member’s Mastercard account.

If you get a new Mastercard as a result of a card renewal, the points will be transferred to your new card.

If you get a new Mastercard as a result of changing programmes, Mastercard Upgrade will be transferred. The monthly fee and earned points will be adjusted to the terms and conditions of the new Mastercard.

If you have an Æ, Ø or Å in your name, you need to replace these letters with AE, OE or AA.

It can take up to two working days for your card number to be registered with LoungeKey, and you can create a profile.

Level points apply to those with SAGA or Private Banking Mastercard and have three levels:

1. If you use Mastercards for more than NOK 100,000 per calendar year, you’ll get 10,000 level points transferred to your EuroBonus account.

2. You use a Mastercard for more than NOK 200,000 per year and you get an additional 10,000 level points.

3. If you use a Mastercard for more than NOK 500,000 per calendar year, you’ll get an extra 10,000 level points.

You can thus earn up to 30,000 EuroBonus level points per calendar year.

EuroBonus level points offer the possibility of upgrading a SAS EuroBonus membership level, but cannot be used for travel, goods or services within the EuroBonus programme.

Level points will be transferred to your SAS EuroBonus account when billing posted qualifying transactions when the target turnover is achieved.

Please note that transactions must be posted within the calendar year in order for them to be included in the first invoicing and transfer of level points.

This insurance covers the excess charge in the event of damage to your rental car and applies wherever you are in the world, provided you have hired the car as a non-professional from a professional car rental company.

Make sure the car rental agreement is taken out in the cardholder’s name to ensure the insurance is valid. The insurance does not apply if you are below the age of 21 and are renting a car.

Mastercard Upgrade gives you extra protection when shopping online. Paid for a product but not received it within 90 days? If so, in principle, we will cover this amount. See the terms and conditions for details of this cover.

Please note that this insurance does not cover losses or damage while the item is being sent by regular post or courier.
