Kjerstin Braathen, CEO of DNB
"We are aiming to facilitate and finance sustainable activities worth NOK 1 500 billion by 2030. By the end of Q2 2024, we’d made good progress by raising NOK 645 billion in accumulated capital for sustainable projects”.
Katrine Blystad, Head of Energy Division, DNB
“The transition to a low-carbon economy requires major investments, targeted policies, strength of action, and cooperation across sectors and national borders. And “we must cooperate to find a path that secures sufficient and affordable energy in a just transition”.

Welcome to Stavanger!
As head of DNB in Stavanger, I look forward to celebrating ONS’ 50-year anniversary with you.
DNB will be a driving force for sustainable transition, and we will use our position and expertise to actively help our customers move in a more sustainable direction, through advisory services, financing and clear requirements. As such, meeting our customers in a setting like ONS, gives us an opportunity to learn more about the challenges you are facing on the road to net-zero, and a chance to imagine (as is this year’s theme for ONS) ways in which we as a bank can help to pave a clearer path towards our common goal.
However, ONS does not only create a host of stimulating conversations for industry professionals, academic experts and politicians alike. To have an internationally leading meeting place such as this in our hometown also benefits our local community, hotels restaurants and so on, and lets us showcase the vibrancy of Stavanger city – which we are so proud of.
Welcome!
Terje Fanebust
Head of Corporate Banking Region South/West
The DNB stand
This year we focused on building a sustainable and reusable stand. We are proud to announce that this year's DNB stand is made of paper, from Molo Designs' brown paper furniture which is made of trees from responsible and certified producers, FSC® Certified (FSC® C158591). The paper also has a non-toxic fire retardant mixed in.
The material can be 100 times its size when in use compared to when stored, so it's easy to store, transport, and reuse.
Barista Coffee
As in the prior year, we will serve delicious coffee made by our clever baristas. You can choose between regular coffee, cappuccino, café latte, and chocolate.
