DNB Global Enhanced Index

The fund follows a passive investment strategy, which means that it attempts to copy the composition of the fund’s reference index, in this case MSCI World Index. This means that the fund invests in the same securities that the index contains, in the same proportions. However, the fund seeks to achieve a higher return by implementing supplementary index strategies. This means that it takes extra steps to increase returns beyond just copying the index.

One way the fund seeks to achieve higher returns is by making index changes in a different way than the reference index. For example, this may be by making quick decisions on the purchase or sale of securities when it is appropriate to benefit from short-term market opportunities or reduce risk.

In addition to being open to changing the composition of the portfolio in line with the index composition, the fund can also be actively involved in capital market events. This may include situations such as mergers, acquisitions or other major events that affect the companies in the fund’s portfolio. By being active in such events, the fund can seek to take advantage of opportunities for increased returns or to protect itself against potential losses.

It is important to note that MSCI World Index is the fund’s reference index, and it is used as a comparison point to assess the fund’s return. This means that the fund compares its own return with the return on the MSCI World Index to evaluate how well it performs in relation to its stated benchmark.
